President Jammeh on Wednesday, May 3rd, received a Special Envoy of the Mauritanian Head of State General Vall. The envoy Habib Ould Habib told pressmen shortly after his audience with the Gambian President that he had just delivered a special message from the Mauritanian military leader. Mr. Habib praised the Gambian President for being a loyal friend of the Mauritanian Government and people. President Jammeh was on a working visit in Nouakchott, the Mauritanian capital, at the time of the alleged attempted coup on March 21st 2001. |
